Dhaleshwari residential area is a privately owned area that is intended to be developed as a residential zone for retired government officials housing 365 families. The site being located right beside a tributary of Shitalakshya river, works as the guiding factor in the development of the orientation of the plots in the initial phase.

​The idea was to maximize the views and allow wind flow throughout the site by locating open spaces and built up spaces in a manner that it opens up better livability conditions in each individual plot. 

​The infrastructure layer having different routes for pedestrian, bicyclists, cars etc structures the internal layout of the site. The requirement of the clients was to provide 365 plots for residential purpose and sufficient amenity spaces in a landscape of small strip like and pocket green spaces with different uses.
